Hollywood veteran Danny Smith came to Bryant on Wednesday, October 1. Smith is Executive Producer and Head Writer of “Family Guy”, the highly popular, animated TV show. (His credits also include the successful sit-coms “Yes Dear,” “3rd Rock from the Sun,” and “Head of the Class.”) As one would expect of a long time comedy writer, Smith put a decidedly comedic spin on his experiences during his presentation in the Janikies Auditorium. With many of Smith’s relatives and friends mixed in with the Bryant crowd, the mood was warm and inviting - a homecoming celebration of sorts for the Rhode Island native. In the afternoon, before his talk, a group of media aspiring students enjoyed meeting Smith at an informal getting-to-know-you session at Bryant’s TV Studio.
