Bryant Literary Review is an international magazine of poetry and fiction published annually in May. For more information, contact blr@bryant.edu. To submit work, please review the submission guidelines.

Introduction
Since our first issue in 2000, we have actively sought to expand our audience. We expect readers of the Bryant Literary Review to be sophisticated, educated, and familiar with the conventions of contemporary literature. We see our purpose to be the cultivation of an active and growing connection between our community and the larger literary culture. Our production values are of the highest caliber, and our roster of published authors includes major award and fellowship winners. The BLR provides a respected venue for creative writing of every kind from around the world. Our only standard is quality.

Publishing Information and Submission Guidelines

The reading period is September 1 to December 31. We only accept submissions via hard-copy. Submissions via e-mail will not be considered.

Send no more than three to five poems or one short story, with name, address, and e-mail (if available) on each page. Fiction should be no longer than 5000 words, and please limit submission to one short story (even when the story is under 5000 words). We also welcome submissions of photography and artwork.

All manuscripts must be accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope; manuscripts will be returned only upon request with sufficient postage. Payment is in contributor's copies. Copyright reverts to author upon publication. Additional copies are $8.00.
